I get asked a lot about protein shakes, smoothies, juices and other "nutritional" beverages. As far as healthy beverages go, I'm pretty simple when it comes to the majority of my liquid consumption. Water mostly with a cup of coffee or tea in the morning. I do however like to make one of my "liquid multi-vitamin smoothies as I refer to it smoothies a couple of times per week. This recipe is often evolving and has taken me about 2 years to get to where it is now. The items as listed in the order that I put them into my Magic Bullet Blender Cup, which can fit a surprisingly large amount of ingredients. (Disclaimer; I am not a Doctor or Nutritionist and am not advising anyone on nutrition. This is simply what I have found to work for me and the reasons why I chose each ingredient based on my understanding of each food. Do your own research and consult your Doctor when making dietary changes especially if taking medications.)
